If you’ve lost your job or are working reduced hours, there’s financial support you can access. Please don’t just pull your child out of care.... To access financial support, log on to MyGov and apply for temporary financial hardship (see below screenshot). This means the government may pay your childcare fees IN FULL for 13 weeks. If you’re choosing to keep your child home, the government has extended the number of allowable absences that can be covered by the Child Care Subsidy (CCS).
