22.01.2022 It's starting to get to that time of the holidays where everyone's getting in each other's faces now and then. I hope it happens in every household! This gave me a giggle.
20.01.2022 I posted about the school holiday claustrophobia that seems to occur in our household around this time. This is also true at this time of year. . Our time out today was fishing. Rest assured Bundaberg based fish are very, very safe and well fed!
12.01.2022 My Mum's A Pillow has been included in a exciting review from The Children's Book Council of Australia! "This book encourages everyone to feel that they are beautiful just the way they are. The reader is taken on a journey of self-doubt, body image and self-acceptance which the characters experience. ... This story encourages an understanding of perspective, and the consideration of the negative thoughts which may be present in the minds of others, which impact their behaviour and interactions. Finishing with a message of understanding and loving the skin you’re in, this book highlights the importance of communication, and actions and their impact on others." I am joined by other Empowering Resources Authors Chelsea Davies and Renee Irving Lee in the article. I strongly encourage you all to pop on over to their Facebook pages and have a look at their amazing work for little people.
