19.01.2022 Some positive news in light of the increased restrictions due to COVID-19 The Australian Government are providing 10 additional Medicare subsidised sessions to people in lockdown areas. If you have already used your 10 sessions this year, you are now eligible for a further 10 and can continue to receive mental health support from a Psychologist.... This is no doubt a difficult time for many, with increased uncertainty and stress. 18.01.2022 Despite the Stage 3 restrictions beginning midnight tonight, all sessions will continue to be face to face in the rooms. Being located within a hospital means you will be temperature tested upon entry. Social distancing measures will remain in place. For those who don’t feel comfortable attending the rooms, or are unable to attend, Telehealth sessions are also available. From Friday 9 October 2020, the Government will double the number of Medicare rebatable sessions from 10 to 20 per year for anyone eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan.
