15.01.2022 Fiona Ross is renowned as a singer of traditional Scots song. As those of us who have attended the Melbourne Tartan Festival’s Gala Dinner & Concert know she ...also delivers a mighty Address To A Haggis! Thanks very much to Fiona for presenting a Scots poem especially for this year’s virtual festival. This is one of Robert Burns’ best loved works: To A Mouse (On Turning Her Up in Her Nest, with the Plough, November 1785). Sit down with a wee dram and enjoy. Slàinte mhath! See more

08.01.2022 Thanks very much to Celtic Music Radio in Scotland for choosing our new CD - Sunwise Turn - as their featured album of the week from today. Tune in to hear tracks from the album throughout the week ahead.

07.01.2022 A few short weeks ago we were just so excited at the prospect of launching our new album at the National Folk Festival, followed by a string of great festivals ...that we were booked for throughout April and May. We could not have imagined the world being in this position today. Such tough, uncertain times for so many. Having made the decision to press ahead and try to keep some semblance of normality the album is still scheduled for release on April 3rd. We won’t be able to perform it live for you for the time-being, but it is available if you’d like to get a copy at www.fionaross.com.au. Or PM me for more info. I LOVED making this album with Shane O'Mara and I’m really proud of our work together. We look forward to getting out and playing again in the near future, and will hopefully organise some virtual offerings in the meantime. Stay safe and well everyone See more

06.01.2022 It’s been a treat to read these daily blogs by Pam Merrigan - Imagining the National Folk Festival 2020. Very strange to think that in less than 30 minutes - Shane O'Mara & I would've been on stage at the Flute n Fiddle - launching the new album. Happy-sad feeling today. Roll on NFF2021...!
