21.01.2022 4 months of the unknown Never have I experienced a stand still of travel as we see today. With many huge events and headlines over the world nothing will compare to 2020. 20.01.2022 Exploring the Tweed The past weeks I’ve been fortunate to visit The village of Tumbulgum to hop Aboard ‘Spirit of Wollumbin’ as a guest with many other tourist and enjoyed a cruise experience I was totally overjoyed with what we have available. WOW this is a must to any local or visitor to this region. The moment your onboard a friendly vibe and knowledgeable, Michael, of Mount Warning Tours I was soon learning of the land, birdlife, rainforest & nature as the history of the... region was told, his passion for the region shows and I absorb the details as I sit back relax and enjoy the calm Tweed River. A glass of wine and seafood lunch freshly bought onboard by @Allan’s seafood was perfectly paired with the scenery & atmosphere as a trawler to plate experience I can still taste the creamy seafood chowder, fresh sweet prawns & bug.... Delish I didn’t want to get off! I really love our backyard and the gems on offer. 18.01.2022 When borders open and allow you to travel!! I make the most of it! My 13yo son and I visit Brisbane for the night. His request is a pool and mine- comfy beds. Upgraded to premium room didn’t disappoint and a bonus hot spa, newly renovated bathrooms and fantastic fresh, clean and generous meals served at the walnut restaurant.
