24.01.2022 We've been a little quiet on here over the last few days, waiting, watching, evaluating and planning our way through stage 3 restrictions. We are pleased to know the melbourne flower market is still trading, whilst we do get lot of our flowers direct from growers the market adds to the variety. So having said that, we're still trading and creating beautiful fresh flowers as well as new dried and preserved arrangements. Flower availability will differ from week to week so we ...do suggest calling our beautiful staff to chat further and to place orders for contactless delivery. We are so incredibly greatful to still be trading and our hearts and best wishes go out to all those who are closed or struggling right now. 23.01.2022 Some of you may have seen and noticed me waddling about the shop like a duck... well here is the culprit!! We are so excited to announce a new apprentice will be arriving in december! I will be taking a step back early december which means we will be looking for someone to join our team whilst I'm away. We are looking for someone to work 3-4days per week with rotating saturdays. Floristry shop experience is essential and if you have studied floristry it will definately b...e an added bonus. Duties will include, customer service, cleaning, delivery driver, floristry (for the right applicant). The role will commence mid november or otherwise discussed. Applications will close 31st october giving us a lot of time to find and train the correct person. I must stress that this position is a maternity leave position and hours will change/reduce mid February upon my return. 06.01.2022 Well..what a day, no doubt you've heard of the new restrictions for our beautiful victoria. Whilst a lot of businesses and services are closed in Melbourne the fresh fruit and flower markets will still be trading allbeit at a reduced capacity and limited selection. This means that we will still have access to fresh flowers and we will still be delivering throughout the Ballarat area. Out thoughts are with our Melbourne florist friends who will have to close, sending you all... a lot of love. This week we are a little short on staff so to allow us to continue trading we will be changing things up a little. On Tuesday we will still be delivering and accepting orders via phone and online but our door will be closed. On wednesday we will be open as normal, we will keep you posted with regards to thursday.
