24.01.2022 A sad day in history: Paris' Notre-Dame, burning

23.01.2022 Hazard Reduction undertaken today in Menai. Day 2 for Arncliffe in attendance. Unfortunately these activities do generate heavy smoke but it’s a very important part of bush fire safety & prevention for those hotter months. #PreparedForAnything

22.01.2022 https://7news.com.au//firefighters-visit-scene-of-singleto & this is the very hard, unbelievably heart breaking & sad side to our job. To our comrades who fought hard to save this family, we salute you. To the family, such a devastating, & truly sad time. We send our thoughts.

21.01.2022 We send our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of those who tragically lost their lives today. This is an absolute tragedy in what has already been a devastating bushfire season. We are grieving with you.

20.01.2022 Absolutely devastating. Our thoughts are with all involved at this very difficult time.

18.01.2022 Change your clocks, check your smoke alarms | Many smoke alarms installed before or in the couple of years since 2010 are now starting to reach the end of their life span and will need to be replaced if they are out of date. Don’t risk it, test it. Working smoke alarms help save lives. #PreparedForAnything #ProtectTheIrreplaceable

18.01.2022 This could be all summer...! Please read!

16.01.2022 What we’ve been up to today:

15.01.2022 When carpet ripples like this, you know it can’t be good! There was that much water throughout this unit, 2 water vacs were required for mop up. PSA: don’t cover drains in any wet areas!

11.01.2022 #Brookvale is still burning

11.01.2022 Avoid a nasty burn or scald and always turn your pot handles inwards. Pot handles turned outwards are the perfect height for running into and being grabbed by children. June is National Burns Awareness Month. Last year in NSW more than 3000 people suffered burns injuries with almost 50% of these caused by scalds. For more information on National Burns Awareness Month, head over to Kidsafe Australia.... #PreparedForAnything #ProtectTheIrreplaceable #HelpUsHelpYou

08.01.2022 Safety Message from your friendly firies from Arncliffe, & Ausgrid: STORM SAFETY: Storms can damage the electricity network and cause large trees to fall on live wires.... If you see fallen powerlines always assume they’re live, never approach them, stay at least 8metres away and call Ausgrid immediately on 131388.

08.01.2022 Despite the impact of COVID-19, we remain prepared for anything at any time, so rest assured we’ll be available to respond in an emergency. Help us to ensure we're here to help you. #StopTheSpread #StayHomeForUs #AlwaysOpen #PreparedForAnything #MoreThanFire

04.01.2022 Taren Point - last night Arncliffe, along with all Sutherland Shire crews & surrounding stations, were called to a 6th Alarm Factory Fire on Alexandra Ave Taren Point. Big job, loads of crews, objectives achieved, job well done! (Although the job continues!)

04.01.2022 During a deployment to the township of Eden, strike teams were sent to fight & protect the areas surrounding & including Eden Woodchip Mill. Whilst there, the crews met with MP Andrew Constance, Premier Gladys Berejiklian, Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons & Fire & Rescue NSW Commissioner Paul Baxter. During their time they visited many townships devastated by the fires.
