10.01.2022 Whilst filling in at Windsor fire station today we were sent to a grass fire at McGraths hill that started from an unattended pile burn. With the assistance of ...Oakville Rural Fire Brigade we were able to get this under control quickly and save it from spreading to neighbouring paddocks. If you live on a rural property and are conducting a pile burn you must mow the grass around it, always keep an eye on it and have an adequate water source.

06.01.2022 After returning to the station we were once again sent back to Richmond (09:46 hrs)for a truck leaking diesel in Windsor Street. On arrival we found a prime parked at the corner of West Market & Windsor streets, which had just been filled with diesel. The problem was that the vehicle was on a lean into the gutter and fuel was transfering from the righthand tank into the lefthand tank, causing it to overflow out of a breather pipe. The vehicle was removed to a flat area once the driver came back and the gutter and road cleaned and rendered safe by 81 crew members.
