15.01.2022 COVID - 19 Fire and Rescue NSW Operations To ensure that Fire and Rescue NSW maintains the highest levels of readiness during the COVID-19 health emergency, sev...eral operational changes have been introduced. These changes are designed to safeguard firefighters and employees to enable them to continue to deliver fire and emergency services to the public Changes: Cancellation of all non-essential community engagements, such as school visits and safety checks. In the meantime, there is plenty information available online about fire safety and what you can do to stay fire safe at www.fire.nsw.gov.au/firesafety Please avoid visiting fire stations unless absolutely necessary. If you visit a fire station for any non-life threatening issues we are not going to be able to let you in You may notice fire trucks at emergencies with fire fighters sitting inside. We are minimising unnecessary firefighter contact with the community Enhanced hygiene measures have been implemented at all fire stations and workplaces with staff continuously cleaning and decontaminating our trucks, uniforms, buildings and equipment to ensure that firefighters and our community are protected. During this time the safety of the community and of our employees remains our top priority. We are working closely with all levels of Government to deliver the best possible services. For more information on COVID-19 visit the NSW Health website below: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//dise/Pages/coronavirus.aspx #FRNSW #COVID19 #PreparedForAnything #MoreThanFire #ProtectTheIrreplaceable Please assist us in keeping the community safe Report fires and emergencies to Triple Zero (000) #covid-19
