11.01.2022 We’ve had a very busy morning at RP235. At 8:30 am we were called to a persons trapped and pinned under a vehicle. We traveled for an hour before we reached said trapped person. We stabilised the vehicle so ambulance and medical doctors could access the patient. Then we used Rescue techniques to extricate the patient from his entrapment. The patient was then air lifted to hospital. Well done to all personnel involved!!! FRNSW RP235, Ambulance NSW, RFS, Police and Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew.

10.01.2022 The Fire Danger Rating for Saturday 28th of November is VERY HIGH. Permit suspension is still in effect and will continue until further notice for both the Nam...bucca and Kempsey LGA's Please ensure that your Bush fire survival plan has been reviewed and is current. Information regarding that can be reached via: https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/resources/bush-fire-survival-plan. For up to date information visit: https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au or the Fires Near Me app

10.01.2022 A rather busy afternoon for us .... at 3:06PM we were responded to a single level multi bay garage fire. The garages were full of equipment. We were quick to set up a defensive water attack line and protect the exposure of the house on the property. Unfortunately the garages were already well alight and we weren’t able to save them. However we stopped the spread of the fire. We were joined by FRNSW 371 Macksville, RFS (Talarm, North Macksville and Valla Beach), NSW Ambulance,... NSW Police, and Hazmat 257. RFS did well relaying water to RP235 and P371 and keeping a constant flow for us to be able to control and contain the fire. Thank you to all who helped out this afternoon!!! Great Job. We returned to station at about 6:30pm. Where we spent another 2 1/2 hrs cleaning equipment, cleaning and resetting Breathing apparatus, re-stowing the truck with hoses and making up our personal PPC. We left the station at 9pm. See more
