11.01.2022 WE REMEMBER | Today marks National Police Remembrance Day, where we commemorate the service and sacrifice of the members of the NSW Police Force who have lost t...heir lives in the line of duty. Much like our firefighters, police officers dedicate their lives to protecting our NSW community. Today we recognise their courage and commend all those who have lost their lives to keep us safe. #MoreThanFire #Community

08.01.2022 If you're changing your clocks before going to bed tonight, take a moment to check your smoke alarm. It’s as simple as pressing a button. If your alarm isn't w...orking, replace the battery or the unit. Only working smoke alarms help save lives. Don’t risk it, test it. #PreparedForAnything #ProtectTheIrreplaceable

06.01.2022 This is the new and improved emergency + app. It provides all emergency services with your exact location to within a 3x3 metre square. This is extremely helpful to all Central Coast Fire and Rescue NSW Stations to help locate you quickly... this is particularly helpful on roads like the M1, in National Parks and in county areas. Please download it toady Coasties. ... It could save your life. #preparedforanything

05.01.2022 Fire and Rescue 304 Gosford Firefighters and Rescue Operators raising awareness of men’s health throughout MOVEMBER... Many Central Coast residents are not aware that professional firefighters are at a significantly higher risk than the general population of developing a range of life threatening cancers. This is particular true of Central Coast Firefighters... many of our mates have had battles with cancer due to many of them serving the community for over 20 years and atten...ding many hazardous incidents. This is why firefighters at 304 Gosford are again getting on board to raise awareness and support for the global men’s health initiative Movember Australia. Over the coming weeks you will see many of us growing some truly disgraceful moustaches like Firefighter Rob Hansen who has had his own battle with cancer and is now a tireless advocate for men’s health and well-being. We encourage all Central Coast Men to be brave, get to the doctor and get checked out... yes it can be a little unpleasant... but way better than fighting for your life because a cancer wasn’t picked up early.
