23.01.2022 RYAN AVENUE CLOSED Ryan Avenue is currently closed as workers and emergency services clean up a diesel spill. Traffic control will be positioned over the bridge to Putty Road while this section is cleaned up also. Avoid the area and exercise caution.

20.01.2022 Wednesday 17FEB2021 @ approximately 18:00hrs Singleton Fire + Rescue and units from the Hunter valley Rural Fire Service were responded to reports of a train fire in the corridor, Whittingham. Fire + Rescue Firefighters arrived and found a small fire in the lead engine main engine compartment and extinguished using a portable extinguisher. Singleton Fire & Rescue firefighters arrived to find a car fully involved in fire. Firefighters got to work with hose lines and wearing Breathing Apparatus. The car was totally destroyed by fire. ... If you have any information contact Singleton Police Station. We have also responded to 2 Fallen Power Lines and a Automatic Fire Alarm as a result of this afternoons storm.

16.01.2022 This Morning @ 11:38AM Singleton Fire + Rescue, Branxton Fire + Rescue, NSW Police, NSW Ambulance and Aus Grid were responded to reports of a House Fire in Singleton. Singleton Fire + Rescue firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke issuing from the house. Firefighters wearing Breathing Apparatus (BA) gained entry through the front door and completing a search of the premise. Once it was known no one was home, Firefighters then located the seed of the fire at the rear of t...he property and extinguished the fire. Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the house and Aus Grid disconnected the power to the property. It is a timely reminder to make sure you have at least 1 working smoke alarms in every level of your house between your kitchen and bedrooms. Test your Smoke Detector Monthly Vacuum the Detector every 6 Months, Change the battery every 12 Months Replace the Smoke Detector every 10 years If you think your smoke alarm is faulty Replace It Immediately. 14.01.2022 Monday 21DEC2020 @ approximately 1315hrs Singleton Fire + Rescue station, Hunter valley police and Singleton Ambulance were responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident near the New England highway, Singleton. Emergency services arrived and found a car Vs car motor vehicle accident , with no persons trapped or injured. Firefighters investigated the road way for fluids and found nothing.... Fire + Rescue Firefighters arrived and found a fire had occurred in a ute. The fire was extinguished by the owner prior to the stations arrival. Thank you to everyone who came out and wave, dressed up, gave cards for Santa, brought out their children, fur babies and families, shared a drink with the neighbours and smiled those huge Lolly Run smiles we look forward to seeing every year!... After a year like no other, the 15th annual Singleton Lolly Run has been by far the biggest yet with over 8000 bags of lollies thrown out!! We wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year and look forward to seeing you all again next year

08.01.2022 Thursday 17DEC2020 @ approximately 23:25hrs Singleton and Branxton Fire + Rescue stations, Hunter valley police and Singleton Ambulance were responded to reports of a house fire in down town Singleton. Singleton Fire + Rescue firefighters arrived found a house fully involved in fire. Firefighters used Breathing Apparatus (BA) and hose lines to control the fire. The house is fire, smoke and water damaged. No one was home at the time of the incident. ... Crews spent a significant amount of time extinguishing hot spots using a thermal imaging camera. Ambulance paramedics remained in attendance for firefighter welfare. 07.01.2022 Monday 01MAR2021 @ approximately 1920hrs Singleton Fire + Rescue, Branxton Fire + Rescue and Singleton Police were responded to reports of a unit alight in john street, Singleton. Fire + Rescue Firefighters arrived and found that the unit was smoke logged. Breathing apparatus was used to gain entry in to the unit where food stuffs were found on the stove. A positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the smoke from the building. ... Emergency services blocked part of John street to carry out operations.
