25.01.2022 Been working today... The big knife in the fist pic is 40cm, so the little ones are pendants... made the pendants today. The longer one is 125mm, the shorter one is 115mm... made just like the real thing, and out of Damascus steel. They were originally steel cable. Cross guards and pommels are brass, the handle is timber over a full tang.

23.01.2022 A trammel I made yesterday for The Company Of the Dove. max height is 60cm, the minimum is 49cm... Hope Jen likes it. also attaches is a pic of the support bar that goes between the tripods and supports the pots, etc.., this one is 18mm in diameter steel, 159cm at support centres, and was tough to shape with hand held hammer and anvil.

22.01.2022 Been busy lately and so haven't lit the forge. Any requests?

19.01.2022 First attempt at damascus steel

17.01.2022 A trophy arrow and brooches made for Veris Castra for their archery tournament

14.01.2022 Made up a seven pointed (Elven) Star with a goddess symbol in the centre. Seems to have come up nicely. All the angles were cut and then welded and the star was then welded onto the 2 rings with the moon symbol welded in last. Polished on a drill press with a buffing wheel. Hope the client likes it :)

10.01.2022 Been playing on the lathe and Mill lately, It is Sarah's (my wife) birthday very soon... She is a doTerra Wellness Advocate and she has these little wooden boxes that she keeps her oils in. She obviously needed something that could keep her Aroma Touch Oils together and easy to see and get to, so I came up with the design below... It is made from 5 inch dia aluminium rod with a brass spindle/screw.

07.01.2022 Been making a few things again, mainly for relatives and friends, letting them make some of the items themselves. Great way of keeping the art alive, show people some basics and let them try for themselves. The joy this brings to them, is fantastic to see. Hope what ever you are doing out there it brings you joy and no matter how hard it seems, just keep swinging that hammer, and if it all goes bad, forge weld the broken bits together and start again :) Life is a journey to be lived, not hidden from. 05.01.2022 Finally had a chance to play with one of the blanks of Damascus I made up a few months ago... it is now a medieval style razor..

01.01.2022 When the weather cools down, hope to play on the forge again, been a tad too warm to stand beside it. Are there any requests for items to be made, I know there are two daggers for Jen, anyone else got any requests?
