21.01.2022 Tig Master Class This full on one day course is for the complete beginner to tig welding. You start the day learning about the unique features of tig then move on to your first project, an aluminium tool tray , after lunch its onto stainless steel making a small oil/gas tank, then finally tube/pipe welding. The course is designed to teach you in the shortest time possible how to achieve that stack of dime look. Our experts teachers give over the shoulder instructions every step of the way. Course fee is $450pp.

Mig is probably the easiest welding method for the beginner but can be a bit tricky to get started with. Your instructor, a local TAFE teacher will start off with the basics on safety and then on to how to setting up your mig welder, from there you will quickly learn how to run a welding bead and onto the fun bit, joining... metal together with various welding joints like lap and fillet. The aim of our short course is for you to gain an understanding of the mig welding process and hopefully the confidence to have a go yourself at home. Our course is no certifications and no previous experience is required, all equipment is provided just bring stout boots long cotton work shirt and trousers. 04.01.2022 So I had this job on this large machine in the back of beyonds with no power source and Ive been lucky enough to have been let a cool bit of kit called the Ready Welder, its a portable Mig welder that is powered by two 12v car batteries and can use flux core wire or if you want to drag a site size gas bottle will work on that as well!
