25.01.2022 "When moving in the anointing it’s possible, if we’re not careful, to have the wrong motive. Ministry may become more about us rather than the person in front of us encountering God. This is why it’s so important to look to Jesus and follow His example. The gospels reveal that Jesus was moved with compassion. He didn’t arrive on the scene for the attention of the crowds, or because He needed another testimony to feel validated, but rather compassion for God’s people moved Him... into action. I believe this was because of His intimate relationship with the Father. Often, Jesus withdrew from the crowds to be alone with the Father on the mountain. His priority was to always minister unto the Lord first. When Jesus would return to the crowds, He never severed His connection with the Father. 15.01.2022 so powerfully in this season AND...So are we!! We are so excited to have announced our this past Sunday and we are thrilled to be moving into a great purpose built space for the Kingdom of God to continue to be extended. We have plenty of things to do and purchase before we can be fully functioning in our new location so we are calling upon the help of our Fire Church family to prayerfully consider giving towards our target of $70k for the fit out ...of 2 x kitchens (1 x main kitchen, 1 x kids church kitchenette), kids church toilet, signage, sound proof glass doors, fit out of kids rooms with new equipment & technology, new sound & light system for our auditorium, and part of the giving will go towards the clean up of our old building. 08.01.2022 - COMMUNITY RELIEF - We have some awesome updates on the impact of your giving and our partnership with Local 2 Community. L2C give out an average of 250kg of food per week. Translating this to meals, as per industry average formula from Foodbank Australia (1.8 meals per 1kg of food given), it looks like this:... 250(kg) x 1.8 = 450 meals per week. That's a lot of families in need with meals provided for! On top of that L2C has a great KINGDOM atmosphere where people open up, talk about life and its struggles, & then often feel the love of our King Jesus through the awesome Fire Church champions that's part of the L2C team! Let's continue to give to this cause and our relief account as it also helps provide for Fire Church members in need from all our campus locations. % of proceeds are given away.
