22.01.2022 The Canberra Heat will head to Melbourne this weekend - focused on securing another Australian Volleyball League title. The side will meet the WA Hornets in the semi's, with a win to guarantee a place in Sunday's Gold Medal match.

18.01.2022 Tonight a few of us went down to DIBV and watched these 4 guys play together for the last time. Three of them will be heading interstate and overseas shortly, so their team will no longer be playing. These guys were the start of the junior boys Fireflies program a few years back and it has been a honour to see them grow not only as players but as fantastic young men. It was with a proud and heavy heart we watched them take the court tonight. We will miss them but wish them all the best in their futures no matter where the world takes you guys. Love always from your Fireflies family! Xox

17.01.2022 Congratulations to Rainbow Fireflies and Jr Ladies Fireflies for making the B Grade ladies finals tonight. Jr's took out first with Rainbow's taking 2nd place. They all played like Flies on Fire!

14.01.2022 Fireflies ladies took court this weekend and played the Northern Territory Indoor Beach Volleyball Titles 2019 at Darwin Indoor Beach Volleyball, in the open ladies division. They played hard but unfortunately were eliminated in the finals playoffs. Was wonderful to see how far these young ladies have come since they first started in juniors, with the youngest at 15 years old, these ladies will be amazing players in a few years time.

10.01.2022 Fireflies ladies played last night in the Darwin Volleyball Association semi finals and unfortunately went down 2 sets to 3. But despite the loss, a special mention must be made to two specific players, Chloe & Keely. These two are 12 years old and held their own on court last night against women and we couldn’t have been prouder of their performance. Also thank you to the Fireflies ladies who continue to take junior players on court and in comps to help grow and develop the sport. Thank you Tahnee, Morgan, Trina, Lily, Kenzie, Sara, Tiana, Sonja & Lexi for bringing Chloe & Keely to where they are today with their skill and confidence on court, it could not have been done without you ladies.

09.01.2022 The boys took the court one last time tonight in semi finals and in their uniforms. Good to see how far these young fellas have come and that after all this time they are still at it.

07.01.2022 Congratulations to both Fireflies Jr Ladies and Fireflies Snr Mixed for taking out the NT Championships at Mararra Indoor Stadium this weekend. Well played everyone, you all played like Flies on Fire!

06.01.2022 Special mention today to these three beautiful young ladies. These girls are our junior ladies who last night attended their year 12 formal. Fireflies has worked with these ladies for the last few years and it’s been a pleasure to watch them grow into such lovely young ladies. Congratulations ladies!
