25.01.2022 I love doing Sarahs headshots she is so natural on camera, this is the 3rd time we have done them to accommodate changing hair and these I think are the best. For anyone looking for an actor look no further and she has an amazing life of its own eyebrow!

25.01.2022 Had a little visitor yesterday to test out the studio light! Spent a lot of time asking about some droids or druids? Couldnt quite make it out and then shouting about opening the blast doors, open the blast doors!!!! #starwars #anewhope #theforceawakens

24.01.2022 Its with immense sadness that I have to report that Frank Hall MM. Legion of Honour one of the veterans that took part in our Aipp Reflections shoot has died. It was an honour to meet Frank and listen first hand to his account of the battle at Ranville during D-Day. I have attached the story below for everyone to read again. We must never forget heroes like Frank and all the others who we have to thank for our freedoms today Rest In Peace Frank :( Sgt Frank Hall MM. Legion ...of Honour As a Trooper in the Parachute Regiment Frank dropped into Normandy with "B" Company, 12th Parachute Battalion on the 6th June 1944. At Ranville on 7.6.44 this company was the forward company of the Battalion. At midday the Battalion was attacked by a company of enemy infantry supported by 8 Mk IV tanks. No.[1] Platoon was in a position astride of the wood North of the crossroads 104727. When the platoon position was attacked Frank immediately manned a 6-pounder Anti-Tank Gun at the crossroads. The Anti-Tank Gunners had been killed and lay around the gun. Frank had never fired an Anti-Tank Gun before and with his first two shots he destroyed the two leading tanks with the result that the tanks cleared off to the Battalion right flank where they were attacked and stopped by "C" Company. Franks act initially slowed up the Germans turning them off to a flank where they were finally stopped. Frank moved off after the enemy infantry (approx 150 strong) advanced on his position. Frank marvels that when he stood up and looked at the shield on the 6-pounder how he was still alive the fire upon him had been so intense. Before Frank left the gun he took the breach with him so the enemy could not turn the gun and use it on them. For his bravery Frank was awarded the Military Medal by the King at Buckingham Palace watched by his proud parents. Recently the French Government awarded Frank The National Order of the Legion of Honour for his defence of Ranville. The Order is the highest decoration in France.

Love doing these shots with the kids so much fun. I now have access to a real STAR WARS Stormtrooper for any Star Wars fans out there.

Some people dont appreciate a long session so you practice to nail the light and get your shots in one take. Shot by remote with a little helper watching the focus point.......

09.01.2022 Reflections project update: These are all the veterans I have photographed so far and even though the project has finished taking on new veterans we are still photographing veterans that have not yet been got to. Very proud to have done 43 so far and travelled up and down WA to do it. A small price to pay to ensure these WWII veterans are never forgotten.

I dont advertise that I do weddings so I dont do many, instead people hear about my work and its kind of by appointment only.
