22.01.2022 Be aware of IMITATION NOZZLES! Shown on the left is our genuine impact-resistant polycarbonate nozzle, manufactured in New Zealand by Tru Design Plastics. On the right is a plastic nozzle which may be found in some stores.These nozzles attempt to copy Tru Design, yet with poorer materials and manufactured in China. Despite their similar looks, the imitation nozzle is far inferior in quality. The weaker plastic is much more prone to breaking when dropped. Notice the imitation ...nozzle has a rubber ring that can easily be removed! The second image shows the internals of the nozzles. You can see that the genuine nozzle is composed of stainless steel fittings (shown on the left), compared to the corroded steel and brass on the right. You can also see that the plastic coating fails to cover the bolt properly on the imitation piece, making it likely to snap off. The imitation nozzle carries a brand name, "Fire Power". Genuine nozzles are branded TruDesign. If you are after a reliable product that will work during an emergency, stick with a genuine TruDesign nozzle. 18.01.2022 CFA Access For Domestic Water Tanks If the CFA require water on your property, you should have proper CFA fittings. The TEE assembly will help the CFA to access water from one side while your domestic requirements are still connected through the other side. Ball valves allow you to turn off supply to either side. This ultimate kit combination allows Jack to draw from two water sources, then pump through modular Layflat kits with Water-wall Tee assemblies every 10mtrs.
