10.01.2022 On Wednesday we celebrated the achievements of fire protection apprentices at our Glenwood open day. From a strong field of trainees three leading candidates we...re finalists for the NSW Apprentice of the Year Award. The finalists were: Rory Burns - Precision Fire Brad Curtain - Premier Fire Davide Mancini - FlameSafe Fire Protection The Award is presented to a Fire Protection Apprentice enrolled at Fire Industry Training who has demonstrated a strong commitment to off-the-job studies as well as showing reliability, professionalism, autonomy and contingency management in the training environment. We would like the congratulate all of the nominees for their dedication to their training throughout this difficult year. However, there can only be one winner; and the winner of the NSW Apprentice of Year award is Davide Mancini from Flamsafe Fire Protection! Thank you to all of our members who joined us at the open day and were able to celebrate with us and we look forward to seeing all of our Queensland members at the NFIA Christmas Lunch and Industry Awards next week.

08.01.2022 Check out the ‘Valve Systems Trolley’ bound for NSW! Consisting of 2 Pre-Action valve systems and a Deluge system, it’s with thanks to Victaulic donating the parts & VIC Trainers (special mention to JP & Roger) committing time to build it. Enjoy it NSW Apprentices!
