19.01.2022 Who is ready for Christmas? We at Fire Museum Queensland Inc. are preparing to receive our beloved Santa Claus firefighter. To help him with the children in Queensland, we have offered him to do a raffle of fire trucks. A storage box seat, six toy fire trucks and helicopters will be raffled on December 9th.... We will be waiting for you to buy your ticket. Make yourself known if you are or were a firefighter!! FMQInc.



13.01.2022 The Fire Museum is situated at North Pine Country Park, Dayboro Road at Kurwongbah, near Petrie. Directions; Turn at the Petrie Round about and continue straight ahead up the hill, you will travel for a few minutes before coming to another round about, go straight ahead, down into the gully and we are located in the village, walk toward the back of the village and look for the fire station.

11.01.2022 1934 Dennis 250/400 Fire Appliance Pump 233 was commissioned into the New South Wales Fire Brigade in July 1935. Built by Dennis Bros, Great Britain.... Decommissioned in June 1969 and retired to an Amusement Park Operator in Canberra. Vehicle ended uo in the Brickworks Museum in Canberra, this site closed in the mid 1980s and three these type vehicles ended up in the ACT Fire Brigade Museum. Car 233 finding its way to Queensland, probably after 1980.

05.01.2022 In the interest of preserving history Mack Trucks Aust Pty Ltd. donated this 1942 mack Fire Appliance in May 1983 to the "Fire Brigade" Historical Society (Qld) Inc. E75 Series Mack Thermodyne; Arrived Brisbane cowl & chasis y lend lease from U.S.A during WWII on the 7th April 1942. Built to this design for Ipswich Fire Brigade by Enoggera Body Works, Pump tested Brisbane Metropolitan Fire Brigade Head Quarters Ann St. Brisbane. Ipswich Fire Brigade disposed of vehicle in 194...5 till 1969 reason unknown who returned vehicle to Mack Trucks, Mack donated vehicle to the Fire Museum May 1983.
