23.01.2022 There can be lifelong consequences to speeding through roadwork sites which can be devastating for the driver as well as fatal for roadworkers. The lives of fa...mily and friends can be scarred forever just because you wanted to save a minute or two on your commute. So when next you’re driving through a roadwork site, please always be roadworker aware, slow down and take care. Your speed is our safety. The TMAA would like to thank the Office for Road Safety, as well as the Northern Territory government, the Tasmanian government and A1 Roadlines for their invaluable support of the ‘Your Speed Is Our Safety’ campaign.

12.01.2022 With the warmer weather we would just like to remind everyone to be vigilant when walking about near or in the bushland areas for snakes and other reptiles. There has already been a few sightings of red belly black snakes in the Morisset area. DO NOT approach or try to pick up any snakes or other reptiles. Instead we recommend you walk away or call a snake handler.
