25.01.2022 All the dollars spent on research to reduce heat load and never once is the easiest option of changing to a less heat absorbing coat colour mentioned.!!!! A bit... like the article that did the rounds concerning infertility in bulls connected to temperature, in Inverell. Not once was it mentioned that black testicles are going to absorb heat. When are industry bodies going to find the gumption to state the obvious?? See more

22.01.2022 What a successful day and a good turn out of greys especially in the baby class with 3 exhibits from us and 1 from cloverside Unfortunately we didn’t quite get the win on first placings we were awarded 1st 3rd and 4th but due to a handler error we was then swapped to 2nd from 1st 2nd class found us the only exhibit and and for a win we went up against the winner of the first class for champion junior female then we went up against the snr female for grand champion female what a honour it was for a junior heifer to be sashes as grand champion Thankyou to the judge Connor and the rest of the team for pulling it together#brightfuture

13.01.2022 Two for two. Congratulations to Candina, who made it through to the Junior Handlers State Finals for the second year in a row, representing Agfest Field Days, ...Tasmania (and she’s only been showing for two years!). She is an absolute star and looked fantastic in the ring with the best handlers from around the state. Thank-you to Bek and Richard from Fire-Ro Park Murray Greys for lending Candina a heifer to lead. Agricultural Shows Australia

06.01.2022 Remember to always follow your gut instincts arrived at the farm around 11 to drop a friend off after a night out grabbed the head touch to check the show cattle plus a heifer due to calve not expecting anything to be happening but there was after some observations I thought to my self things don’t seem to be going well.... to the yards she went for some internal checking A hard find of the second leg the was facing to the rear once we negotiated that into its rightful position any easy pull was had for a safe arrival of bull no 7 of 8 calves born one cow left to calve
