12.01.2022 What your really getting 1 tonne of loose packed firewood is approx 2.2 cubic meters in area. That represents 1m wide x 2.2m long x 1m high.... A standard 6x4 trailer measures @ 1.8m x 1.2m x 0.35m = 0.75 cubic meters Single axle 6x4 trailer is load rated to 750kg with the average trailer weighing 300kg then the max legal load of wood that can be carried is 450kg Hope that helps when comparing the different sellers various sizing/ pricing so that you get the best value for money.

11.01.2022 How to maximise the load on 7x5 trailer. Sadly 2 cubes of firewood is twice what it was designed to carry when new. And this 1 was a rescue from the tip.

08.01.2022 With the wet weather today making it near impossible to cut wood without getting bogged the earliest deliveries wont be until Tuesday 28/07/2020 next week. Im sorry if you are in need of firewood. As my regular customers kow its best to book a delivery in advance this goes someway to ensure a continuity of supply.
