FireWorks PR & Events is a boutique agency based in Melbourne that has been in the game since 2003. We have worked with some incredible clients in hospitality, lifestyle and corporate over the years, driving great public relations campaigns, hosting sensational events, sending out samples of Australia and New Zealand’s finest wine, food and drinks and w...e have had a blast whilst we were at it!! Initially on board for two days a week (with the potential to expand), we are looking for a new team member to assist us across our business. About the Role: Social Media: You will be responsible for strategic thinking and planning, creating and scheduling organic and paid social media posts, as well as reporting to our clients on a monthly basis. Facebook and Instagram are our main channels of focus, but there will be some LinkedIn work, too. Monthly plans will be completed according to the current FireWorks’ social media strategies and procedures. This can also include influencer research and outreach and sampling as part of special projects. Digital Communications: Think website maintenance, content creation, creation & distribution of EDMs all the fun, creative stuff that goes on in digital land. Public Relations: Providing the team with PR assistance. This can include a range of things from assisting with project research, creating media lists, distribution of media releases, product sampling, direct pitching and responding to media requests. Not on your own of course! You will be supported and directed by our senior team. It’s time to learn! Office Admin: Just about everything in between including general coalface work, creation of presentation documents, couriers, postage etc.! About you: We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking team member who takes their work seriously, but not themselves. We like to do good work and have great fun while we’re at it. - Ideally you will have some experience in the social media and digital space (either through your studies, internships or previous employment) - Great written communication skills: We’ll need you to create some creative and flashy content for our clients - A willingness to learn: Full training will be provided to the successful applicant, but we need to know that you’re committed to learning all the ropes - Must be Melbourne based and able to travel to our office in Bentleigh - An interest in wine would be highly regarded, but not essential Sound like the role for you?
