11.01.2022 BLOCK PARTY 2019 || TONIGHT This evening from 5:30PM - 7:30PM, Meagan Streader 'Blend (Parallelism)' is open for viewing in the #firstcoatstudios Gallery! 'Blend (Parallelism)' aims to destabilise and challenge visual perspectives through an immersive experience within the reconstructed light installation. Preconceived ideas of the physical space must be discarded in order to imagine new pathways and examine one’s physical presence within the space. The work explores t...he shifting nature of perception and the unique way in which we experience and perceive space, surface and architecture through illusions and textures. By creating a ‘blurred’ or moiré surface through layers of linear light the work disrupts viewers’ sense of spatial awareness and immediate perception. OPEN HOURS: TOMORROW 22 November 5:30PM 7:30PM Saturday 23 November 4:00PM - 10:00PM Sunday CLOSED Monday 25 November 5:30PM 7:30PM Tuesday 26 November 5:30PM 7:30PM - The BLOCK PARTY 2019 program continues tomorrow!
