20.01.2022 FARM PROBLEM SOLVING 101 It's been so dry lately that the dust has been constantly blocking up the chute on our harvester (we're talking stoppages every few metres!). The remedy? Spraying the trees with water to settle the dust. And voila...works a treat!
20.01.2022 Meet our friend, Roy. On a couple of occasions this year, Roys well has completely dried up, making it hard to give the animals the water they need. Fortunately, we were able to give him access to the beautiful stretch of river running alongside our place to fill his tank. Were guessing there were some pretty pleased sheep, chooks and ducks waiting back home .

06.01.2022 You know it's dry when great big cracks start opening up in the ground! The tea trees are pretty hardy, but a decent drink (no flooding, please - we've been there done that) would be really nice

06.01.2022 Planning a bushwalk this summer? Don't forget to pack a bottle of tea tree oil to ward off those pesky (and oh so creepy!) leeches. Just rub some tea tree oil on exposed areas (dilute with water for sensitive skin) and those parasites won't be your friend. Hooray! If you do have the misfortune of coming into contact with the little blighters, just hit with a couple drops of tea tree and they'll fall right off. The tea tree will also ensure the wound stays infection free. Now happy hiking everyone!
