22.01.2022 Now more than ever Sometimes all you need to do is to take a moment for yourself, with everything that is happening in the world our bodies are under a lot of stress wether we realise it or not. Be kind to yourself Here are a couple of methods I like to use to relax and calm my mind I hope they can help you too xx Meditate: even if you havent meditated before, find a YouTube guided meditation put in your headphones and take a moment, or download a meditation app, ...there is lots of great ones out there. Take a bath: you will never know the power of a nice hot bath, fill it with your favourite @shibora.com.au bath salts, close your eyes & just drift off. Play classical music: there is something very powerful about classical music, I often listen to it with my sister & dogs, animals always seem to love classical music also which is cool, take a note of each sound while its playing and find somewhere nice to sit or lay down & just chill. Have a glass of wine and cook something nutritious: put on your favourite music & cook something yummy & nutritious for you & your family, have a glass of wine while doing it, dance around your kitchen. Move your body: one of the most important, stretch out your muscles, do a nice releasing yoga sequence or go for a walk on the beach & breathe in some fresh sea air. And lastly breathe: something so simple yet so powerful, sometimes when we become stressed our breathing can become shallow so its important to take note of our breathe and try & regulate it & make sure we are getting enough oxygen to our bodies. There are also a lot of incredible breathing techniques you can do, google search them, practise a few & see how you feel Its ok to have a lot of emotions at the moment, I took a few days for myself just to relax into everything that is happening around me as I realised that is what I needed. 16.01.2022 So grateful for each and everyone of my beautiful customers who have supported me in this crazy crazy time, the phone orders & orders over Instagram and people who have come in store & had a shop have made my heart so full, this is unlike anything any of us have been through before but its comforting to know we are all in this together, we are all here for each other and its the community spirit and love that is going around that will get us through these tough times.
