10.01.2022 Our campaign to Upgrade O'Sullivan Beach Boat Ramp continues thanks for all that you have done so far! We need your ongoing support; we need to RAMP this up! ...The City of Onkaparinga has committed a small amount of funding; we need the Marshall Liberal Government to urgently commit the remaining funds required to ensure fishers, emergency services and others can safely launch their boats in a timely manner. The wait times caused by the facility’s poor state is causing frustration, aggression, a lack of safety and turning visitors away from our area. The Government must act now for the benefit of all users and our community. As well as sharing our social media posts, please email Minister Knoll at [email protected] and urge him to fund this much needed upgrade. Together, we are getting closer and can get this done! 05.01.2022 SHOW STOPPER Passers by got the thrill of a lifetime at #Semaphore today when this sub-adult Great White Shark ventured into the shallow waters, slowly circli...ng the jetty several times in those super clear late Winter waters. Kylie Douglas was just one of numerous Shark Watch followers who responded to our call to action to obtain today’s photo and video footage of the sighting. Her photos are featured here and there will be plenty more to come overnight tonight and tomorrow thanks to our generous community of followers! #sharkalertsa #semaphorebeach #adelaidebeaches #coastwatch #alertactrespect @ Semaphore Jetty See more
