23.01.2022 We had a very luck boat owner this week. We removed the anchor winch for repairs to discover a soft spot in his bowsprit so we removed it from the vessel to find it completely rotten making it a hollow shell. If he had hooked his anchor up on the bottom he would have lost the bowsprit and winch completely overboard. Note to all you DIY people it is better to use too much sealant that not enough.

21.01.2022 We conducted a Survey this week on a beautiful old diagonal planked timber trawler. Even the best maintained vessel still needs continual maintenance.

08.01.2022 This old girl traveled 4500 kms by road to arrived safely, just as it was backing into the refit shed the back axle on the trailer broke?
