Visa holders may be eligible for Red Cross Safety Net support if they: are in Australia on a temporary visa... are in urgent financial hardship cannot access Centrelink, Medicare or similar services have no income, savings or other financial support (including from family overseas). The ACECQA is now providing provisional skills assessments for applicants for SC 485 visas.... Information on the process for obtaining skills assessment is available on the ACECQA Provisional Skills Assessment ACECQA completes provisional skills assessments for the purposes of the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) only. This is also only available for the Child Care Centre Manager occupation. Eligibility To be eligible to apply for a Child Care Centre Manager provisional skills assessment for the purposes of the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) you must have: an ACECQA approved diploma (or higher) education and care qualification, awarded by a CRICOS RTO/Institution evidence of the supervised work placement completed in an Australian workplace as part of your qualification. 03.01.2022 Immigration SA - GSM changes 4 December 2019 Immigration SA is introducing some changes to its General Skilled Migration (GSM) state nomination policies. With the introduction of the new Skilled Work Regional (provisional) subclass 491 visa and the changes to the GSM points test, Immigration SA has reviewed the state nomination requirements and the additional requirements on the State Nominated Occupation Lists.... The occupations with a status of special conditions prior to the closure of the 489 and 190 state nomination applications, have remained on special conditions. Most occupations that were not available for high points or chain migration nomination prior to the closure, remain closed to these categories.
