09.01.2022 Last weekend First Focus IT continued its long association with motorsport in Australia by sponsoring a LMP3 car in a 4 hour endurance race at Tailem Bend. The LMP3 class is run globally in a Pro/Am format, with the local GWR Australia team consisting of professionals Garth Walden and Austin McCusker, and amateur (and our very own) Peter Paddon. Despite a difficult start with the car going off on the first lap attempting a pass, and a split brake line that cost us 2 laps, the... team brought the car home in 4th place. This was the first time that the Asian LeMans Series has come to Australia, and the race was a curtain raiser for the LMP3 Cup Australia which is starting locally in Sydney on March 27-29 First Focus was delighted to be able to invite several clients and key suppliers to experience the event and see the some of the fastest cars ever to compete in Australia.
