Guboo believed that everyone, black and white, could share the Dreaming once they truly respected the land and began to open their hearts to her mysterious teachings. Margaret went on to complete a Masters of Education, University of Hawaii and a master of Social Welfare, State University of New York whilst back in Australia she was awarded an honourary degree of Doctor of letters from Macquar...ie University. Margaret was the chair for the Aboriginal Arts Committee, Director of the Aboriginal Education Centre, University of Woolongong and the founder and co-director of Aboriginal Training and Cultural Institute (Sydney). Additionally, I am also a researcher in Public Health, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health & Law, Nursing, cyber-terrorism & cyber crime. I have been an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Medicine woman for over 30 years, a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, and a Public Health Doctor for 6 years. Furthermore, I am an author & academic. Moreover I am a mother of nine children & 4 grandchildren & I do come from a very large Indigenous Australian family both from the Torres Straits and mainland Australia, some of which are Fans of this FB page.
