25.01.2022 What an awesome explanation of OT. It fits so perfectly as OTs cover the width and breadth of human occupations across the life span. For me, my experience in paediatrics and teaching have lead me to specialise in working with school aged children. Specifically children who struggle (for a host of reasons) with engaging in the curriculum and thus being able to fully participate in their schooling lives. It's a privilege working with their young people and their families, helping them find the 'key' to their door. Or in some cases, smashing through and creating a new door to unlimited opportunities!
