19.01.2022 Meet Wiyapurali the crocodile! Wiyapurali shares a story from Cape Fourcroy about a man who was speared in the back and turned into a crocodile. This stunning... crocodile named Wiyapurali was created at the Tiwi College Pickertaramoor, Melville Island, and was painted by all the students in the college with natural ochres and polymer acrylic paint. The spear was created and painted by year 8 student Misman Kris. The students hope to share the story of Wiyapurali with visitors to the Patakijiyali Museum at Wurrumiyanga. Tiwi College
