22.01.2022 UPCOMING CLASSES We thought we would give you an update about what's happening with our September classes. As some of you may be aware Emma is currently 34 weeks pregnant, therefore over the next two weeks we will be taking a small break! Don't worry though we are planning to have sessions which will run the last couple of weeks in September and then throughout October. Over the next two weeks we will be making plans to cover Emma's maternity leave so we can still provid...e our classes to you over the coming months. Northern suburbs sessions are coming and we are working on securing events for you so just bear with us through this time as we make those final plans. We hope you understand and do appreciate your patience at this time. We know with COVID also it has made this a little more difficult for us to deliver sessions in certain venues but please know behind the scenes there is a lot of working going on to ensure everything can run smoothly and you guys get to enjoy our messy play sessions. 22.01.2022 UPDATE Our session on Monday at Surrey Downs will be postponed. This is due to the community centre still being closed. This session will be rearranged for a new date now on 2021. 21.01.2022 WE'RE SORRY We would just like to say sorry for the issues we've been having with contacting families about the CANCELLED sessions. Our system has had a glitch and it's missed orders in events and we cannot apologise enough for the inconvenience caused. Emma would just like to say she is sorry too she's been juggling a newborn, Covid restrictions and a little bubba who is struggling with reflux and this has impacted our service and we are sorry once again to our families. W...e are a small Adelaide business and Emma is responsible for the administration but is getting help with this now to iron out the issues we've had. We appreciate your constant support and are offering refunds to families if you don't want to attend make up sessions. 15.01.2022 Bluey Messy Play - Glenelg Are we ready to mess? Prep has been well underway for our session tomorrow at Glenelg North Community Centre, Kibby reserve at 10am. We've got those resources ready and we are excited to be back! We just have a few guidelines for tomorrow's sessions to ensure we keep all our families safe during this period of uncertainty.... We will be providing hand gel on arrival for everyone to use (adults and children) Can we ask everyone is mindful of everyone's space (we know this can be hard with children but we would like to ensure we are working together to create a safe environment) If toys do go into children's mouths at any point please pass them to Emma your session leader or put them in one of the cleaning buckets. We will be bringing along extra equipment with us. All our resources and materials have been fully sanitised and we are working within COVID guidelines. 14.01.2022 COVID 19 and Messy Play We would just like to thank everyone for booking onto our sessions. It's been overwhelming the response and we can't wait to be back. Thank you again for being patient with us as we working through the issues which face us in our new look world. Can we just remind everyone who has booked a ticket to attend our sessions that ONLY 1 adult per family can attend the session. This is due to the space requirements, number limitations and to ensure we can kee...p everyone safe. We have limited the numbers attending the session so they will be a little smaller than usual. On arrival to our sessions we just ask that everyone respects each others space. We know this will be hard with little ones but we really do have to be mindful of each other. We will be providing hand gel , so arrival if everyone can sanitise their hands this would be greatly appreciated. On leaving we would suggest visiting bathrooms and washing hands and then fully sanitising. We have put steps in place in our own cleaning to ensure we meet the requirements of COVID safety and we are going the extra mile with sterilising and ensuring we keep our families safe. It was so nice to see everyone, meet families and work within this new normal which we are so grateful that everyone respected. Here's just a bit of information about Kelsey so you can see her wonderful wealth of experience. Hi everyone!... Im Kelsey, a mother of two and a Messy Play lover! For 12 years before welcoming our little Scarlett 2 years ago I worked in an Early Learning Centre, one of my greatest accomplishments was becoming a Center Director at the age of 27. I started as a trainee at 16 working my way through to obtaining my Diploma in Childrens Services. Childrens development and watching them play and reach milestones is my passion. I love creating new, exciting and open ended experiences for my own children as well as exploring every playground and activity SA has to offer. I am so excited to be joining Emma at First Senses and delivering your little ones an amazing Messy Play session.
