We will also be able to give out the 2020 awards in style! (Including the scholarship, exam medals, 5,10 & 15 year trophies, and general awards). #firststepacademyofdance

04.01.2022 Today was ballet exam day! Never before have I felt so emotional while watching my students take their exams. I want you all to know how proud I am - for sticking with zoom classes, never giving up, and facing the added pressure of getting ready with only 5 weeks in the studio! Congratulations on your fine work! To the elementary students who worked their butts off in the extremely hot studio this afternoon- you have my respect and admiration. That exam is exhausting when ta...ken in the cool of September. You all pushed through even when you had nothing left in the tank. Thank you to Mr Matt for doing such fine work with the primary students - you are an exceptional teacher! And also for sitting by my side all day and supporting me. Thank you to Makayla and Amber for helping all day - the day ran so smoothly- you did a great job!! I miss everyone already - I didn’t get nearly enough time with my students this year!
