25.01.2022 We are pleased to share a few pics from the new trials we have conducted with the Fischer TORNADO weeder - thanks a million to the clients and suppliers for their support for us to fine-tune the TORNADO. There are clearly 2 winners in the trimmer line department, however, we are also testing different materials used as wear plates to suit different trimmer line grades - over-all, the TORNADO is performing very well - it is a viable and exciting new solution for chemical-free undervine weed control - stay tuned. 11.01.2022 We thought of passing on our latest footage showing the TORNADO trimmer-line weeder in action down south - we are pleased with its performance - we will continue testing langer diameter trimmer line, however the Desert Vortex Stealth Line in 3.3mm and 3.9mm are our definite favours - depending on conditions, the TORNADO requires 5-10m of trimmer-line per Ha - much less cord is needed if used in moist or wet conditions.
