It is recomended you have your chimney swept at least once a year for heat...ing efficiency and to prevent the build up of creosote. Creosote is a flamable tar-like substance that can, when left to build up over time, cause chimney fires!

22.01.2022 We must be doing something right. Five very satisfied new customers over the last 2 days. The common stories we hear are youre the only one who got back to us - we contacted 3 or 4 suppliers who dont even return our calls/messages, or they say they are coming but simply dont turn up, and, I cant believe that is actually a tonne - weve been getting ripped off for years, lucky to have gotten 2/3 of what youve delivered. ... Please be advised, there are unfortunately way too many rip-off merchants in this game - dont be the next statistic. If its $300/t, remember if its too good to be true it probably is. Weve also noticed a number of offerings on marketplace buy/swap/sell who have reinvented themselves from last year with fake FB accounts because they have been busted ripping unsuspecting customers off. By definition, and when checking with the Covid hotline, we are an essential service providing our services involve fire risk management, which it does each and every time. 19.01.2022 At Fischs we travel far and wide to deliver our premium redgum. Up early this morning to deliver 2.5 tonne over to Pt. Julia on the Yorke Peninsula - a 370km round trip. Even with the delivery charge, the customer still sees the value in our premium product.

12.01.2022 Another extremely tight access (with inches to spare each side and above) 1 tonne delivery executed without incident this afternoon. Customer is very happy, because prior to using us for their firewood requirements, the suppliers could only dump it in the front yard. Now they can deal with the load when it suits.

11.01.2022 Pricing update. From tomorrow (Monday 06/07/20) any new orders will have a 3% (approx) price rise across the board. All orders in the system will be honoured at the old prices. Unfortunately, due to increased demand this year and a real shortage of seasoned, dry, quality stock, suppliers have hiked their prices by up to $20/tonne. 02.01.2022 Can personally highly recommend these guys - they cleaned our combustion heater flue today and after 4 years since we installed it they extracted a bucket full of scale and soot build up. For maximum efficiency you should get your chimney/flue cleaned every few years, depending on the type of wood youre burning, oh and they offer heaps of other services as well.
