23.01.2022 Rainbow trout stocking - Aug. 3rd, 2020 10,000 rainbow trout from the Snobs Creek hatchery were delivered by the Victorian Fisheries Authority to Lake Purrumbet...e last Monday afternoon. Club members from the Lake Purrumbete Angling Club transferred and released these fish into the lake. We were informed these fish were yearlings and measured 15 cm in length, see picture below.

22.01.2022 Its always a bonus getting one yourself now and again Another cracking Lake Purrumbete brown. 8lb2oz 69cm Caught late this arvo, I was pretty happy with this... fella... And so was Rexy boy, he thinks its dinner time when ever a fish comes in the boat Great looking hook jaw on him and in awesome condition. Looking forward to chasing these big boys over the coming week or so.. I still have a few sessions available over the Next week or so..
