23.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM QPWS FOR ISLAND RESIDENTS AND VISITORS Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service advises that the Forts Walk will be FULLY CLOSED to ALL pedes...trians and service vehicles from 6am Monday 1st March 2021 for 3 weeks (weather dependant). The Telstra track from Horseshoe Bay to The Forts Junction will also be closed for safety. Please ensure that your customers and visitors are aware of this closure to avoid confusion. Never boring or dull. ...Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine! A good driving record and a DA is required. Fabulous people skills and loads of personality and the ability to showcase Magnetic Island is a must. Well presented, well spoken and must adhere to the alcohol and drug free requirements of the position. Must be physically fit as there will be walking as well as driving involved and setting up esky, tables and chairs in locations, etc. The position is best suited to someone not looking for set hours. The number of hours would vary based on the number of tours booked. Flexibility is essential as there are tours at different times of the day and evening.
