24.01.2022 The guys out east are still enjoying this amazing run of tuna. Out the eastern entrance and turn left, you will still find fish in good numbers. Kelvin Stanbridge really does love to flick his G-spot around.

09.01.2022 Tha Big T report yesterday Went for a fish today with Mike and Brody out of Sorrento. Targeting tuna and kings. Launched around 5 and went straight out on tuna. Within the first few minutes Brody landed the first tuna on a Pakula fluzie in lumo green. 5 minutes later we hade a double hook up my fish taking a micro uzi in the screamer colour, both fish landed. Finallygetting a fish on my Stella . Trolled all the way down to Torquay with no luck. We had a bait fish down the...re, catching about 10 yakkas, we thought that would be enough. Wrong. Motored back up to Barwon Heads and started to have a look for some kings. Wasn’t long before we had a double hook up, both fish lost. We set up again and it wasn’t long before we hooked up again landing another fish. Then after I that it was double and triple hook ups ,finally running out of yakkas we started to use the the big t squid strip rigs. We then started catching a few more kings. So all up we caught 3 tuna to 18kg. We hooked around 12 kings loosing a few, releasing a few and keeping 7 from around 700mm to a meter.A great day out. #fishingonlineau #spotonfishing01 See more

05.01.2022 What a great couple days of fishing going 3.3.1 on the mighty swordfish off Lakes with Pauly, Dougie Bauer and myself. First drop in the the morning we hooked a...n absolute donkey literally the rod tip was in the water and broke the rod rigger in half. This big girl raced up to the surface and we had a visual on a really solid fish. Once coming up literally did a 400m run back down to the bottom. We worked her up again slowly then after 1hr we pulled hooks. We were lucky enough to get another shot and this time the hooks stuck and we had a lovely fish boat side thank God!!!! The second day we had another shot with the fish screaming to the surface and after 15min we pulled hooks absolutely gutted but that's why we keep coming back. See more

01.01.2022 Cape Conran might be one of the more stunning spots to get out on the water, but we know it’s a ramp that could do with a few improvements. That’s why we’re hol...ding a drop-in session on Saturday 1 May to present options to improve this popular ramp. We’ll be at the Marlo CFA station between 10am and 12pm on Saturday, May 1 to answer questions on the concept design that will be available. We’ll walk local users and stakeholders through what we’ve identified in surveys, the features of the concept design and what the next steps are toward improving conditions. The option identified will help combat sand and seagrass build up, increase capacity at the jetty, and make it easier to launch and retrieve there. We’ll also have the plans online following the session so if you can’t make it, you can still have your say. Parks Victoria
