15.01.2022 FISHING REPORT FOR MAY Cooby Dam Some great fishing to be had at Cooby this week, big amounts of yellow belly have been caught all throughout the dam, the most popular area is the deeper ledges.Salt water yabbies has worked a treat.... Somerset Dam Some great signs of Somerset starting to show big bass, pelican point is holding massive numbers of fish. Other anglers were having success on deep diving hardbodies trolled tight to the bottom.

08.01.2022 Fish Report ,For June 2018 For Coobby Dam Golden Perch has been, a bit unpredictable over the last month.One minute they are on,and the next they are off ... again.Don't expect too much, to change as things cool down even more.Trolling the weed, edges will score a few fish.Bait fishing tends to be, the most reliable technique as things cool down.Live shrimp or sailtwater yabbies,are the best baits.Fish these directly below the boat,just outside the weed edges in the afternoon.During the day,also try your luck out in 6-8am of water.The dam hours are now 7am until 6pm.No Outboard motors. For Cressbrook Dam Cressbrook Dam remains closed to all water - based recreational activities, due to the blue - green algae outbreak. It has been closed for several months,and seems the only thing that will roll this algae is the onset of some colder weather.
