23.01.2022 Shout out to Tackle West for hooking me up with my new #Diawa Saltist Pe5 casting rod! Excited to test it out tomorrow with the legends from Perth Fishing TV. All going well we get some awesome fish. Then after our road trip cannot wait to get down and dirty with Westmarine Boating Services when things pick up as summer approaches. Happy days. 19.01.2022 Last two days. Been doing well anybody wants to go fishing shoot me a message!:) Went out with a local pro then took somebody had never met before out fishing the next day. He had been super keen to catch a snapper for some time with no luck on charters. Shout out to Tackle West for the great service and terminal tackle.

18.01.2022 Few good fish yesterday. Missed a massive huuge brozie that done a massive jump and breach like a marlin right next to the boat. Which is uncharachteristic of those sharks. Had a missing inner guide eye on rod which is think is why i lost it. That rod is going in bin. Still a great day. Id post vodeo of shark jumping but u only just cant see it in video mate missed it as we were both soo shocked and too much swearing anyway. If i got vid of shark and landed it or even just got a proper video of it jumping it would have made the news for sure 100% garunteed. An amazing time such a massive rush was worried it was going to jump again but into boat. Got my first Harlequin in v shallow water which is uncommon too. 14.01.2022 Some great snapper sessions lately been bagging out fast! On a mates boat as sprucing mine up a wee bit and will be taking ppl out soon. Also doing reel detailing and protective coatings for high end reels coming soon. Thanks for all the new likes and support

11.01.2022 Great day out on the water today showing how to catch sand whiting. 83 landed with quite a few earning thier freedom via bieng slippery. And a sneaky 47cm skippy plus another 27cm one and a lil squid on the squid jig. Then wash the boat down with salt soap

09.01.2022 Bait every where yesterday! Good day out overall. Were not set up for trolling but still managed three hookups to land two. Never seen so many bust ups occuring everywhere

08.01.2022 98cm 16.1kg dhui a few sambos, 92cm snapper, lots of other fish and 33 crayfish! Platinum Plus Charters always a great time cheers. Well done to deckie on biggest ever fish on a jig using my outfit

07.01.2022 Nice day for it! Skippers best ever Dhui haul on his boat since ownership. Thanks heaps mate today you are the Tuna lord as normal and I paid my Dhus by putting some fish on the deck via King George Whiting and two Dhu Fish. Best christmas in years might have to fish on christmas again sometime! Lots of availability if anybody wants to get out and target some fisheries.

05.01.2022 Going out to do some dhui hunting tomorrow, last time we went on way stopped to fish for bait, dropped down a more basic version of this new rig I tied up tonight and first drop got a whacking 65+cm KGW but it totally destroyed the rig. Done up a totally new, much more flashy and robust version of whats a proven whiting catcher for me over many years cant wait to test it out tomorrow. If it does what im hoping it will then will tie up a test run bunch of the rig in a heap of different sizes from shore flicky version to solid boat version all will be for sale, and a heap of others aswell. In limited numbers initially. Testing the first of the new KGW Super Rigs cant wait! Will be trying my home made version of the hybrid jig head/bait aswell similar to ones used to catch the dhuis in the pictures

04.01.2022 Had a excellent time out yesterday helping somebody learn basic boat fishing technuiqes, such as knot tying, different effective rigs to use, good areas to fish in, what baits to use and pretty much everything. As much as they had actually been fishing for years- nobody had ever really shown them any pointers. Just likes to get out on the boat. Was great to go out and help somebody land thier first ever legal sized Demersal fish since owning his second of two boats for a lon...g time already- and having had no real luck. "We're catching fish!?!" He hooted as we were getting fish after fish on the deck once we found a good little spot. Was a great feeling seeing that huge smile and putting end to the mystery of what some fish are called, rules & edibility etc. Will be doing my own rigs for sale for local conditions and different fish before too long. Will also be doing guided fishing outings once I work out a few more things and get more set up. At a very affordable price. But for now if anybody wants any general lessons be it for boat or landbased fishing or simply somebody to accompany them to be safer with another person and to have some company while going for certain target species, at places they are actually found. For now am offering to take people for free the first time they come with me. Here is a pic of our little haul from a quick arvo sesh yesterday. Not a massive haul to some but to many would be thier best catch ever.

02.01.2022 Coming soon, fishing lessons/tours! Want to learn how to fish or simply go fishing without the preparation and mess afterwards? Will be holding fishing lessons or sessions with all gear provided from $80 per person. No group minimum size and no groups too large probably max four people to keep the experience as good as possible. Anybody interested feel free to share this post or tag a friend you think might like to learn how and when to fish. Customers will also receive free ongoing tips and support post outing, or are welcome to come time and time again. Can either be super safe beach fishing for those after the safest option or can do some rock fishing or reef wading for those more adventurous. Perth metro customers or happy to travel north or south of Perth. All gear bait tackle and even a snack included.
