25.01.2022 Trot On and Alliance charters were super happy to present W.C.S.A late summer festival 2020 winner Gareth Sharpe of Morley with his 1st place prize of 1000 today Gareth was only on his 2nd ever fishing trip when Paul "Dolly Eddon put him over a wreck on the 18 mile and Gareth tempted the Ling of 16lb 14oz on a Squid and Mackerel cocktail to take the lead on the very 1st day we managed to get to sea. Presenting Gareth with the 1000 is W.C.S.A Chairman Rich Ward and Trot On Skipper Paul Eddon. CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE Gareth

24.01.2022 LOCKDOWN IS COMING TO AN END AND FISHING IS BACK From Monday 29th March Trot On and Alliance Charter will be back at sea, Just in time for the W.C.S.A 2021 Spring festival that starts on Saturday 3rd April.... However...... We are only allowed 6 persons aboard which is 5 anglers + skipper. This will allow for social distancing. Trot On and Alliance Charters take your safety as paramount and both boats are cleaned/ disinfected before and after use. Obviously with limited places available, Spaces are filling up fast so you need to be quick to ensure your place on Whitby's Premier Charter boats. 20.01.2022 As from Saturday 27th June 2020, Whitby's Premier Charter boats Trot On and Alliance will resume charter fishing following the latest government guidelines regarding Covid 19 safety measures. 20.01.2022 Even in Lockdown the boys of Trot On and Alliance Charters have been super busy preparing for the commencement of charters on March 29th. Lockdown provided us with the chance for some routine maintenance and a full repaint including anti- foul of Alliance. Paul & Shaun would like to thank Carl Eddon and Kristian Harrison for their tremendous hard work with the prep and painting and a special THANK YOU to Rob of Vinyl signs Whitby, For a great job in producing the new signs ...and decals I think you will agree Alliance is now looking tremendous again. We have places available from 29th March including some weekday places in the up upcoming W.C.S.A Spring festival starting on Sat 3rd April - Sun 18th April, There are daily cash prizes to be won and a 1st place prize of 500. Gareth took the Ling with a squid bait on a wreck 16 miles offshore. 09.01.2022 Trot On Charters had the pleasure of the Mansfield Polish Posse today. Starting on the 9 mile ground Skipper Paul "Dolly" Eddon managed to put them straight on the fish. We had several species Coddling, Ling, Pouting, Blegs and Mackerel with Tomaz and Yvonna doing the best. 07.01.2022 After the storms last week the water still hasn't fully cleared out so a mixture of Wreck and uptide fishing was the order of the day today. Unfortunately Trot On regular Lance Higgins of Oldham just missed out on taking the lead in the W.C.S.A Spring festival with a nice Cod of 6lb 13oz. Whitby local Allan Knaggs also had a few fish, With his best going to just over 5lb....
