09.01.2022 Darling River Cod Opening Fishing Report - we fished the Pooncarie district for 3 1/2 days. Caught 16 Cod in total the smallest 72cm & the biggest 102cm (pictured) majority of the fish were in the 80cm - 90cm range. Some of the locals are suggesting these fish have come back up the river from Wentworth after the river started flowing again. We can't explain the success we had - must have been the worms we were using
