20.01.2022 GOOD FRIDAY The day is here! What is traditionally our busiest day of the year. This year will be like no other ~ TAKE AWAY ONLY! And whilst it will be strange to not have our café packed with dine in customers, we are still anticipating a high volume of take away orders. ... A few things to remember to help make your Fishlips experience more enjoyable: avoid peak times ~ we have already heaps of pre orders for our busy times. Dont be surprised if there are extended wait periods. Best times ~ early lunch 11am ~ late lunch 1:30 pm ~ early dinner 4 / 5 pm please be patient. We work as hard as we can to get your order to you on the time we say it will be ready. This being said ~ its Good Friday and there may still be a delay. Please be kind. Our staff are under the pump. According to CCTV ~ The two thieves (wearing balaclavas and ski gloves) scoped out the whole complex before choosing to smash our side door and enter the premises. ... 09.01.2022 Another busy busy Good Friday for us at Fishlips. Firstly, we would like to thank all our valued customers for supporting us today and for your patience and understanding when wait times were longer than a usual Friday night. We cant thank our awesome staff enough - many of which worked split shifts or didnt get a break at all. We are so proud of them for how hard they worked and could not have done it without them!! ... We hope you all have a great Easter. Please note we will be CLOSED tomorrow, Sunday and Monday and will recommence trade on Tuesday. Happy Easter

09.01.2022 TAKE AWAY ONLY Good news after a week of uncertainty. Fishlips doors will remain open ~ come Tuesday, we will be offering take away only. Our tables and chairs will be stacked and social distancing will need to been in place. ... All of our menu items are available as take away options. We are also in the process of getting menu log up and running. Whilst this is great news for us ~ we are feeling for small businesses around our community whos doors are now shut and workers who have lost their jobs. 08.01.2022 THANKS We are so grateful to have such a supportive community. Yesterday was hands down the busiest Good Friday we have ever had! Record breaking! ... It was great to see lots of people purchasing fresh seafood to cook for their families at home. Thanks for being patient with our crazy wait times and sometimes waiting additional to the time initially given. Most of all thanks to our wonderful staff. Most of them worked 8 to 12 hour shifts and our night staff didnt leave until 10 pm. WE ARE CLOSED SATURDAY, SUNDAY and MONDAY HAPPY EASTER. James will be taking the time to rest and spend with our three beautiful kids.
