18.01.2022 PRYML D16 vapour, A rod thats commonly found on the clearance rack at bcf and other tackle stores for around 30-50$ & The also commonly on sale @savagegear_australia manic 2000 which is also fairly affordable at around 50-80$ spooled with 6lb Berkeley fire line and 4lb savage gear leader a combo well under the 200$ mark with change for some lures, A very affordable combo for fishos of all levels. For the next couple of weeks we will be putting this affordable combo to the te...st to show you all that 1000$ set ups aren’t needed to catch fish, Our first test was bream land based, with plenty of smaller flattys landed as by catch, the rod itself handled these fish with ease as as its got a fair bit of back bone and length to go with that being a 7 rod but does have trouble with flicking smaller lures around 3-4g, the reel, really surprised me with fighting these finicky fish, it has incredibly smooth drag for a reel of this price range and handled fish of all sizes, with a spool on the deeper size it holds surplus amounts of line but paired with the pryml D16 casts fairly good, over all I think for bream fishing the rod is on the heavier size but I believe the reel is amazing and handled very well, I believe this combo will do well in the next few tests we have instore for it . . . . . @savagegear_australia #savagegearaustralia @p_r_y_m_l #pryml @berkleyfishing_aus #berklyfishing @fishnsw #fishnsw See more
