24.01.2022 Thank you... What a fantastic week we had at FishTails ! The location is brilliant (up there on millionaires row), the house is very well appointed with just about everything and our furry kids loved the holiday with us... What a find! We will be back for sure! Keiko and Chris

22.01.2022 The "Leap of Faith" where you have to step across a gap in the rocks which just tumbles away down into the depths of the dark gloomy waters under the headland. The gap is only a small step but quite frightening.

21.01.2022 Winter 2014 Tailor.some very large fish.

21.01.2022 Fiji style, one of the Yellowfin Tuna caught on large poppers cast at feeding schools. The one I lost was on a dual hookup, where mine ran straight down for 100M and was not stopping when the second line cut across my line and "ping" my line was left empty. It would have been a good fish. The best for the day topped 25lb. A great day on GT Fishing Fiji & Tours with Capt. Bob

14.01.2022 Juvenile Australasian Gannet had a flight path to the school of bait and I think I was in his way.....and I was the one that lost chicken or dare and ducked at the last moment as the swoosh of his flight went past my head.

06.01.2022 Speckled-Hind caught always at Easter during rough weather as close to the rocks as possible.

06.01.2022 Tailor on Flinders Beach near the camping grounds. Plenty of pilchards with Tailor holding in deep water. All caught on 65g Raider lure. Smaller fish were released but some were too far gone. I did measure all the keepers and the smallest did just sneak over the 35cm mark which is the legal length for Tailor in Qld.

03.01.2022 Hello all, We have finished our Sabbatical year of living and working from Fishtails (Stradbroke Island). During this time we reconfigured downstairs to now include a new bathroom(duplicate of upstairs), moved the laundry to the garage area and converted this room into a bedroom. This was to meet our growing needs of our family which now includes grandchildren. After hearing many comments about the joy that Fishtails brought other families, we have approached Ray White again ...to manage our property. Though our family now is prioritising the use of school holidays and we have booked out these times for us. We have also had to increase our prices under the guidance of our property management, but I have ensured that we still keep within the lower price range for similar properties. What were you best memories at Fishtails? Sorry No Pets. We lost our dear old foxie cross and have taken a period of time to have no pets in our house. I will notify Ray White of the error. 01.01.2022 30-40 Trevalley crashing into bait fish around the rocks. Managed to climb down and throw a lure into the middle of them and caught a 12lber. Had to then climb back up, but it was worth it. All happened at Pandanus Rock.
