When a young Aboriginal man raised by missionaries is recruited by a mounted policeman to hunt down awarrior leader in the epic landscapes of northern Australia, a secret unravels that ultimately pits them against each other. To be filmed in Kakadu and Arnhem Land Aug/Sep/Oct 2018... We’re looking for Indigenous actors keen to play a variety of roles. New stars to be found!!! No experience necessary. This is a nationwide search for Indigenous men and woman aged 16-65yrs. Reuniting director Stephen Johnson and writer Chris Anastassiades creatives behind award-winning film YOLNGU BOY. 07.01.2022 Calling NT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander film makers to get involved in the Red Ochre initiative NITV and Screen Territory have partnered on an exciting initiative and are calling for emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander screen practitioners based in the NT to get involved. The initiative, Red Ochre, is looking for teams to submit ideas for a half hour documentary, a short form documentary series or an entire 3 x 30 minutes documentary series.
