25.01.2022 Sensor Nutrition Sensors typically have a less robust digestive system and are often prone to conditions such as IBS. Protein is a challenge for the Sensor’s gut to break down so cooking meats well is the way to go. This, along with heating all meals so the body can focus on digesting rather than utilising energy to regulate body temperature will greatly assist. Slow cooked, warm dishes for the win ... 15.01.2022 Does this sound like you? The Crusader! The aim is the aim is the aim, always looking to achieve and if given a goal, will produce the goods. If Crusader’s finds themselves without a goal they can become unmotivated and lose direction.... When it comes to training they have high tolerance to speed-endurance (can go fast for long) and so often we see marathon runners or long distance cyclists in this HealthType and prefer more endurance based training in the gym. Eating is a means to an end to gain energy to work and train, high carbs is necessary to fuel the brain and eat regularly as digestion is quick. Always thinking strategically for the outcome they desire. Welcome to the world of an Activator. While fasting may well be all the rage right now. Activators, with a generally faster metabolism and quicker food transit time in comparison to other health types, will perform better when eating regularly. Food timing is one of the many different factors... taken into consideration when it comes through the food section of ph360, and is different for everyone. So Activators, do yourself (and everyone around you) a favour and keep those snacks close by! Don’t be afraid to eat bigger meals for dinner too, this help with your sleep and will keep you satisfied so you’re not waking up hungry overnight. 10.01.2022 Guardian Nutrition We’re sure you’ve all heard the saying no carbs after 6 well, for the Guardian, there’s a reason for this. The Guardian healthtype is more susceptible to metabolic conditions such as diabetes and research has shown us humans are more insulin resistant between the hours of 6pm-10pm.... This means the Guardian will greatly benefit from reducing carbohydrates at night and instead opting for a more vegetarian meal that’s easier to digest. Immediacy can stress the Diplomats system so where possible avoid being rushed or having deadlines, set yourself up for success by meticulously planning and developing contingencies. While it can sometimes take you a while to get going, once you are heading in a certain direction you can be a powerhouse. When stressed you may find yourself heavily procrastinating, try to slow the pace, get the small wins and you’ll be back on track in no time. 05.01.2022 Does this sound like you? The Connector! Motivated by the people around them they have a group mentally always wanting to build up the community and keep things fun and light-hearted. Love being social and around others whether it’s while training or going out for dinner. Can be often unconsciously distracted by the new shiny thing.... Sometimes results can take time with this body but when remaining consistent they will notice significant impact and change within the body. This can be a paradox as the Connector can be easily become bored and move on from quickly as they love variety in all things so stick to it and you will reap the rewards. Connectors have an incredibly resilient body and with the right nourishment and recovery can sustain multiple workouts a day for an extend period. What’s imperative to allow this is taking care of the mind - ensure your headspace is where it needs to be and you’ve addressed any stressors in particular with your work and social life.
